Chapter 7... Good-Cop, Bad-Cop
We dropped out of warp along side Polaris and fell into orbit around the fifth planet in the system. "Full sensor scan," Justin ordered. "I don't wanna be surprised like before."
I heard the bleeps from Will's station and he turned to face the Boss. "There's some scout ships behind the moon. We should be able to make quick work of 'em between Messiah and Polaris if things get ugly."
"What about the surface of the planet?" The Commander asked.
"I'm picking up three pockets of a breathable atmosphere around two kilometers apart." Marisa reported. "There's definatly something down there."
"Sir, there's an energy fulxuation coming from the pockets." Laiyal said. "I think the domes are decloaking."
"Go to full mag." Justin ordered.

Chapter 6... The Game's Afoot
First Officer's Log, Stardate: 9749.9, after the Xindi engagement, we managed to repair most of Polaris' major systems and get her out of the rings. All injured crewmen have transferred to Messiah for medical attention. We are now in a standard orbit around the planet and Captain Metlesits has ordered a meeting with the senior staff. Both of them.
"We can assume that the Xindi will send ships to investigate the incident that took place yesterday." Metlesits said over the communications link we had to their conference room and vice versa. "The disappearence of one of their ships will no doubt spark a hunt for two Starfleet ships in their territory."
"But by the time their ships are here, we'll be long gone." Justin pointed out. "Where were you headed before you were attacked?" He asked.
"A system with an F type s

Chapter 5... Coffee break
The air of the mess hall was saturated with smell of coffee. Black coffee, lattes, cappichinos. Can you blame us?-I mean we were working on repairs to Polaris for hours on end, it wasn't until recently did I get a report that repairs have been set back because of something as trivial as a busted fusion reactor. Engineering crews had to replace the damn thing and that's gonna take almost an hour, but a set back is still a set back.
I grabbed my cup from the synthisizer and took my first sips. I sighed in relief. "Ah coffee." I said as we headed for a chair with coffee and tablets in hand. "Tis the nector of the Gods."
"Big whoop." Will said sitting down on a chair on the opposite side of the table. "I don't even drink the stuff." Will is very picky on the subject of food. He doesn't drink anything with caffine in it, and he doesn't drink anything with

Chapter 3... "Let's ride."
I must've spent half a day in engineering without so much as a potty break trying to teach these kids the difference between a warp matrix flux capaciter and self sealing stem-bolt just so we could warm up the reactor ready for launch.
The Captain said we were leaving in ten hours, or negative two hours at this point, at least that's how it felt. I haven't glanced at the time since I walked into this hell-hole Starfleet calls an engine room.
I stepped off the turbolift onto the bridge. The blue carpet that I'm used to was replaced with a deep, dark red and all the consols had black finish and silver highlights. It was like I walked onto the set of a bad 1960s sci-fi show. Bright work lights were placed all around the command center. I couldn't see the captain's chair because someone covered it up in plastic wrap. What do they keep rats off? Some enin
